Assistant Controller

Overview Recruiting Manager - Accounting & Finance. We are seeking an Accounting Manager/Assistant Controller level candidate to join our clients firm. This is a hands-on role reporting directly to the CFO, with several direct reports. Responsibilities Oversee and execute day-to-day accounting operations Ensure compliance with GAAP and maintain robust internal controls Manage the monthly close process Coordinate with the companys external accounting firm for the annual audit Partner with senior leadership to support FP&A activities, including trend analysis, variance reporting Support corporate tax planning in collaboration with external tax advisors Drive automation and process improvements Qualifications Bachelors in Accounting Strong technical knowledge of GAAP CPA is a plus Big 4 Experience is a plus Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing and Finance Industries Accounting Note: This description excludes nonessential postings and mentions of referrals or job postings not related to the role.
