Job Description Job Summary: Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues for diagnostic purposes. Assesses, plans, and executes imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and image quality. Responsibilities: Operate CT equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images. Evaluate patient conditions and adjust imaging techniques accordingly. Assess, plan, and implement care for patients across all age groups from adolescence to geriatric. Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images securely and accurately. Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment regularly for optimal performance. Document and manage patient records, billing, and data in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Qualifications: Hold an associate's degree in Radiologic Technology. Be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and Computed Tomography (ARRT-RT and ARRT-CT). Possess active Radiologic Tech license in California. Have certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). Demonstrate venipuncture certification (preferred). Maintain facility-specific certifications, such as BLS from AHA or ARC.
