New York Licensed Senior Attorney

A company is looking for a Senior Staff Attorney to litigate cases in the New York City area. Key Responsibilities Independently handle lawsuits involving premises actions, motor-vehicle accidents, property damage claims, and No-Fault claims Prepare pleadings, written discovery, reports, motions, and briefs in support of defense strategies without supervision Research, draft, file, and argue appellate briefs in reviewing courts on behalf of clients Required Qualifications Minimum of five (5) years of legal litigation experience Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school and license to practice in New York State Knowledge of New York Supreme and Civil courts Member in good standing of New York State Bar Federal admission in S.D.N.Y and E.D.N.Y is a plus
