This lab-based role focuses on investigating manufacturing and quality issues, identifying root causes, and implementing data-driven solutions to improve assay performance and reliability. In this role, success is defined by your ability to independently troubleshoot assay issues, perform laboratory experiments and data analysis, and implement improvements that enhance product performance and customer experience.WHAT YOU'LL DO:Troubleshoot assay and component issues arising in Manufacturing and Quality ControlDesign and execute experiments to identify root cause and recommend corrective actions (e.g., formulation optimization)Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, QC, Assay Development, and Engineering to resolve technical issuesGenerate, analyze, and interpret high-quality data under tight timelinesEvaluate and implement process improvements to enhance assay robustness, repeatability, and reproducibilitySupport quality system activities including CAPAs, deviations, change controls, and SOP updatesOther Duties as assignedBASIC QUALIFICATIONS: BS/BA degree in life science0-2 years of experience in immunoassay, biotechnology, or IVD marketsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Hands-on laboratory experience (ELISA or immunoassays preferred)Basic data analysis and troubleshooting skillsStrong documentation practicesExperience with statistical analysis software, like JMP or MiniTab desired but not requiredFamiliarity to LEAN/Six Sigma practices and principlesExperience working on cross-functional projects or collaborating across teamsSelf-motivated with a strong work ethicDetail oriented, excellent organizational, strong communication and record keeping skills.EXPECTATIONS, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS & ABILITIES:Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to work across functions and within external collaborationsOnsite positionTravel 5% or lessMust be able to lift 15 amount poundsWHY YOU'LL LIKE WORKING FOR US:Our Technology :From discovery to diagnostics, Quanterix's ultrasensitive biomarker detection is fueling breakthroughs only made possible through its unparalleled sensitivity and flexibility.
