In this role you will lead and mentor a distributed engineering team to deliver scalable AI infrastructure. You will shape the high-performance networking stack and LLM serving architectures, aligning cross-functional partners on goals and delivery. You will architect efficient RDMA-based systems and collaborate with hardware, software, and storage teams to bridge gaps between components. This role offers impact at scale, influencing Google's AI training, inference workloads, and storage integration. You will drive technical direction and deliver resilient solutions for hyperscale environments.

ResponsibilitiesLead and coach a distributed engineering team, aligning cross-functional groups on goals and deliverables.Design and deploy scalable software and LLM serving architectures, optimizing the serving stack for efficiency and reliability.Architect performant network transport across NICs and platforms, tuning the stack for HPC, RDMA, and ML workloads.Co-develop strategic roadmaps bridging RDMA, storage, and AI/ML with organizational leaders.Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineers to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.Evolve the RDMA stack and drive integration with storage servers and PFS technologies.
