A large enterprise in the banking industry is building and modernizing its core application platforms to support high‑volume, business‑critical systems in a regulated environment. These platforms power transaction‑heavy workflows, APIs, and internal tools that require strong reliability, performance, and security. We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and applications using modern Java technologies. This role is hands‑on and focused on backend development, system reliability, and service ownership, with some full‑stack exposure and close collaboration across engineering, infrastructure, and operations teams. What You’ll Work OnDesign, build, and maintain Java‑based backend services and microservices Develop and support RESTful APIs using Spring BootBuild and enhance scalable, transaction‑heavy systems in a banking environment Support production stability, performance, and reliability of enterprise applications Collaborate with frontend, platform, and operations teams across the full SDLCContribute to modernizing legacy applications and improving system architecture
Required Skills:
- Strong Java development experience
- Hands‑on experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture
- Experience building and supporting REST APIsExperience with Angular or other modern frontend frameworks
- Experience working in a production enterprise environment
- Familiarity with event‑driven or messaging systems
- Experience working in cloud or containerized environments
Nice to Have:
- Kafka experienceAWS or other cloud platform experience
- Banking or financial services experience
- Experience supporting high‑availability or transaction‑heavy systems
