Machine Operator/Assembler

We are seeking a final assembly worker for a full time position in a union shop. You will perform various assembly tasks in the manufacturing of railroad crossing signaling parts as well as assist on the shipping dock. Responsibilities: * Build assemblies to specified bill of materials (BOM) and blueprint * Complete tasks in a timely manner and keep to production schedules * Follow company policies and procedures as laid out by direct supervisor * Prepare finished products for shipment * Maintain a clean and orderly work area Qualifications: * Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment * Ability to use hand tools and power tools * Familiarity with measuring tools * Ability to handle physical workload * Ability to work well in teams * High school or equivalent (Preferred) * Manufacturing experience Preferred)Physical Requirements: * Working while standing. * Walking, bending, sitting. * Ability to lift up to 70lbs.
