The inherited portfolio consists primarily of medical coverage clients, creating immediate and ongoing opportunities to expand relationships by selling additional voluntary and ancillary benefit solutions.Once established, the role carries ownership of a Texas-based territory, with flexibility to leverage existing relationships from outside the state. This position is ideal for a proven benefits sales professional who wants immediate revenue responsibility, strong internal support, and meaningful upside without starting from scratch.What You'll DoTake ownership of an existing book of employer clients on Day One, initially focused on medical benefitsExpand revenue within the existing portfolio by cross-selling voluntary and ancillary benefitsSell products including MEC, MVP, STD/LTD, critical illness, accident, LTC, and identity theftSupport clients during their transition to electronic enrollment and benefits administration platformsDevelop new broker and employer relationships across Texas, with flexibility to bring out-of-state relationshipsAct as a consultative sales partner, advising on benefit design, carrier selection, and voluntary product strategyCollaborate with internal proposal, implementation, and account management teams for seamless executionTravel within the territory as needed to support clients and close new businessWhat You Bring5+ years of experience selling voluntary or ancillary benefits through broker or employer channelsStrong understanding of voluntary benefit positioning and enrollment strategiesExperience expanding existing client relationships through cross-sellingActive Health & Life insurance license (or ability to obtain quickly)Comfort working onsite during the initial onboarding and client transition periodStrong relationship-building, presentation, and closing skillsPreferred QualificationsExisting broker or employer relationships in Texas or surrounding statesExperience supporting electronic enrollment or benefits administration rolloutsBackground selling into small to mid-sized employer groupsAbility to operate autonomously while collaborating with internal partnersWhat You GetImmediate ownership of an established client portfolio — no cold startSignificant upside through expansion of voluntary benefits within existing accountsRelocation support to Midland, TXStrong internal support so you can focus on selling, not servicingLong-term growth opportunity within a stable, national benefits platformJ-18808-Ljbffr
