Please note - This is a Full Time Position onlyJob Title: Technical Project ManagerLocation: Foster City, CA and Alameda, CARole Overview:We are seeking a Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead complex, cross-functionaltechnology initiatives spanning data engineering, data integration, data migration, andAI/ML (including Generative AI) projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technicalfoundation and proven experience managing projects in healthcare, pharmaceutical, orother regulated data environments.You will act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, drivingsuccessful project delivery while ensuring alignment with compliance, quality, andperformance standards.Key Responsibilities:• Lead end-to-end delivery of technical projects — from scoping and planning toexecution and deployment — ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.• Collaborate with engineering, product, data science, and business teams to defineclear requirements, milestones, and deliverables.• Oversee projects involving data platforms and technologies such as Python, SQL,APIs, Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, and AWS services.• Drive initiatives in data engineering, data migration, data integration, andAI/ML/GenAI solutions, ensuring scalability and compliance with data governancestandards.• Identify and manage project risks, interdependencies, and resource constraints toensure successful outcomes.• Establish and promote best practices in Agile/Scrum and project managementmethodologies.• Facilitate effective stakeholder communication with regular project updates, metrics,and dashboards.• Ensure proper documentation, audit readiness, and compliance with healthcare andlife sciences regulatory frameworks (GxP, HIPAA, etc.), where applicable.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or arelated discipline.• 5+ years of experience managing complex technical projects in technology-driven orregulated environments.• Strong technical acumen with the ability to effectively engage with softwareengineers, data architects, and cloud engineers.• Hands-on familiarity with AWS cloud services, Python scripting, SQL, and modernETL/data pipeline tools.• Proven success delivering data platform or AI/ML-related projects in collaborationwith multi-disciplinary teams.• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, orsimilar.Preferred Experience:• Background in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or regulated environments (GxP,HIPAA).• Exposure to AI/ML or Generative AI solutions, particularly data-driven automationor analytics platforms.• Experience with Big Data and cloud ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, AWS,Azure, GCP).• Ability to manage cross-functional data initiatives with multiple vendors and globalstakeholders.
