Welcome to Montage Health’s application process!Job Description:Position SummaryUnder the leadership of the Department Director and Assistant Director, the Clinical Nurse Supervisor assists with planning, supervising, assessing, and providing nursing care in accordance with the hospital and department policies and procedures. This role includes staying informed and actively participating in productivity, quality outcome measures, patient experience, and employee performance. The Clinical Nurse Supervisor ensures that department staff work within the nursing scope of practice as defined by the California Board of RegisteredNursing or other applicable licensing bodies.This role balances the responsibilities of front-line patient care with collaborative oversight of the unit's overall operations. Responsibilities may include taking a patient assignment as needed and completing other duties as assigned. The Clinical Nurse Supervisor embodies the department and organization’s mission to deliver safe, high-quality patient care and to act as a good steward of resources.ResponsibilitiesMaintain compliance with standards, policies and proceduresUtilize evidence-based practices in patient careEnsure accountability for patient outcomes and quality careSet clear expectationsPromote teamworkEnsure patient and workplace safetyProvide ongoing feedback for staffLead process and performance improvements within the departmentAchieve and maintain a consistent and positive patient and employee experienceExperienceMinimum two years’ experience working in an acute care or Outpatient Endoscopy CenterDemonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skillsExcellent organizational and problem-solving skillsMust have charge nurse or equivalent leadership/supervisor experienceEducationBachelor’s degree in nursing or related field requiredMust pass orientation and initial competency assessment prior to independent assignment of patients and must complete and pass all annual competenciesLicensure/CertificationsState of California RN license requiredAmerican Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS requiredACLS, PALS certifications requiredEqual Opportunity EmployerAssigned Work Hours:1.0 FTEMonday through Friday10-hr, AM shiftPosition Type:RegularPay Range (based on years of applicable experience):$76.48to$102.29The hours employees work determine when a shift differential is paid.Hourly Evening Shift Differential: $5.50Hourly Night Shift Differential: $8.00
