This position acts independently under general direction, provides technical leadership and should be an expert in business or functional area. This team member formulates/defines system scope and objectives and devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results.The Sr Oracle Application Developer prepares detailed specifications and is responsible for developing, unit testing, debugging and documentation. This team member should have full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming, and is accountable for providing work estimates and may be responsible for multiple phases of a project. Responsibilities will also include guiding/directing and checking the work of other developers.Design and develop technical solutions that meet business requirements based on functional designsProvide technical specifications, unit test plans and installation plans for new systems or enhancementsPerform problem analysis, coding, unit testing and debuggingCoordinate with team members to work on solutions and perform design/code reviewsDevelop advanced solutions in Oracle EBS and related technologies and toolsDevelop file and database structures, interfaces between internal and external systemsProvide third-tier user support during installation and end user trainingDesign forms, reports, data collection, processing and control procedures for assigned systemsCreate and maintain all pertinent documentation using AIM methodologyMaintain technical and functional awareness and competenceServe as contact to relationships outside of the Company as appropriateLiaison with external vendors like Oracle Managed Cloud Services, KoFax, etc.What Makes You A Dream Candidate?Knowledge and SkillsExperience with Oracle E-Business Suite R11i and R12 primarily in the following Oracle Financials (GL, iExpense, AP, FA, Cash Management, Purchasing, iProcurement, Payments) and HCM modulesExperience in development of all aspects of RICE objectsExperience in design and development of Workflows and AME rulesExperience in design and development of complex Oracle Forms and ReportsExperience developing reports in BI Publisher and DiscovererExperience with Unix/Linux Shell scriptsProficiency with Microsoft Office products, software library control and editing productsKnowledge of encryption and security protocolsKnowledge and understanding of SOA conceptsIDEs such as TOAD, SQL Navigator, PL-SQL Developer and JDeveloperStrong SQL, PL/SQL, OAF skills including performance tuningAbility to interpret and write technical publications/diagrams, and project specificationsGood organizational and follow-up skills and ability to meet time sensitive deadlinesAbility to read and understand technical manuals and documentation pertaining to the operations of computer and software applications and equipmentStrong technical, analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience and Education:7-10 years of IT experience in analysis, design, development, testing, documenting and production support of Oracle e-Business applications Req5-7 years XML, JSON, XSLT and Web Services PrefBachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work or military experience RequiredWhat We Offer: Generous benefits package available on day one to include: 401K matching, bonding leave for new parents (12 weeks, 100% paid), tuition assistance, training, GM employee auto discount, community service pay and nine company holidays.Our Culture: Our team members define and shape our culture - an environment that welcomes innovative ideas, fosters integrity, and creates a sense of community and belonging.
