Senior Full-Stack Engineer (React / Angular + Java) – Prime Brokerage (VP)Design, develop, and maintain high-quality UI components for the Prime Brokerage technology platform, taking ownership of the entire development lifecycle from concept to production. This is a hands-on software development role.Provide technical leadership for an agile development team, championing best practices in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD). Foster a culture of quality through developer-led automated testing initiatives. Drive continuous improvement in SDLC, agile and DevOps processes using key performance indicators, including DORA metrics, to enhance team efficiency and software delivery.Lead design, planning and estimation discussions within the team and with partners from across the department along with business stakeholders.Conduct high-level system analysis and architecture design, ensuring alignment with business requirements, technical standards and the overall architecture blueprint. Facilitate requirement gathering and translate complex business needs into technical specifications.Oversee the creation and maintenance of project and technical documentation.Identify and mitigate risks throughout the SDLC, proposing solutions to complex problems.Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.Oversee production support processes, collaborating with operations and business stakeholders. Analyze issue patterns to drive improvements. Guide documentation efforts, maintain on-call rotations and lead post-mortems. Lead efforts to resolve root-causes and enhance performance, scalability, and reliability.Provide technical leadership and serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers, analysts and grads.React, Angular & Test-Driven Development are essential.Experience in any number of additional technologies (listed below) is advantageous:AI-assisted development tooling (GitHub Copilot, Devin)Kotlin/JavaCloud Technologies (Kubernetes, Open Shift)Messaging Technologies (Kafka, Solace, TIBCO)SQL/No-SQL Database, Data Store (SQL Server, Mongo, S3)Observability Technologies (OpenTelemetry, ELK, Grafana)Recommended Qualifications:6-10 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis roleExtensive experience system analysis and in programming of software applicationsExperience in managing and implementing successful projectsSubject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications DevelopmentAbility to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictateDemonstrated leadership and project management skillsConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communicationEducation:Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster's degree preferred
