Apply Today!   Where You Will Work  Located approximately 50 miles northeast of Safford, Arizona on U.S. Highway 191, Morenci operations (an open-pit copper mining complex) has been in continuous operation since 1939. The operation consists of two concentrators, crushed-ore leach pad and stacking system, a low-grade run-of-mine (ROM) leaching system; four SX plants; and three EW tank houses that produce copper cathode.Morenci is a unique company town where our employees and their families can reconnect with nature through hiking, fishing, camping, hunting and numerous parks. Visit the Morenci town  website  to learn more.DescriptionUnder general direction, plans and performs a variety of complex property management transactions including but not limited to facilities, customer service, real estate management and safety.Provides administrative and technical guidance to staff, assists in the interpretation of policy and procedures established by regulatory and governmental agenciesParticipates and recommends in the selection of key staffInvestigates complaints from customersEstablishes and maintains open communication with other program staff; coordinates activities and works cooperatively in a professional mannerPrepares correspondence, documents and reports to assist in retail and or hospitality environmentAssists in providing information and resources to site officials and other departmentsAssists in the daily inspection of Townsite operationsPerforms all other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum QualificationsEducation and/or experience equivalent to a High School diploma or GED, supplemented by advanced leadership training or education up to and including a Bachelor's degree in a closely related field; ANDAt least three (3) years of related Rental Management experience, Building and ConstructionKnowledge of Real Estate principles practices and laws pertaining to property and asset management, rental and lease agreementsTechniques of contract administrationPrinciples and procedures of record keeping and reportingAbility to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautionsPreferredCertifications or Licensure in Real Estate, Property ManagementCriteria/ConditionsAbility to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in EnglishAbility to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standardsMust be able to work in a potentially stressful environmentMust be able to frequently sit, stand and walkMust be able to frequently lift and carry up to ten (10) poundsPersonal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as requiredFreeport-McMoRan promotes a drug/alcohol free work environment through the use of mandatory pre-employment drug testing and on-going random drug testing as per applicable State LawsWhat We Offer You The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $65,000-$90,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors.
