Senior Maintenance Manager

A globally prominent and rapidly growing manufacturing organization is seeking to hire a Senior Maintenance Manager to lead plant-level Maintenance and Facilities Engineering within a complex industrial manufacturing environment. Reporting to the VP/General Manager, this role is responsible for driving equipment reliability, asset utilization, and overall facility performance while supporting broader operational excellence initiatives. The Senior Maintenance Manager will partner closely with Operations, Engineering, and other functional leaders to reduce downtime, improve system performance, and build a high-performing, safety-driven culture across the campus.Primary Responsibilities:Lead the Maintenance and Reliability functions, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all plant equipment and infrastructureDirect, lead, and develop a large team of Maintenance personnel.Drive asset utilization through improved equipment reliability, reduced downtime, and optimized maintenance strategies utilizing TPM and Lean methodologiesDevelop and execute preventative and predictive maintenance programs to improve uptime and extend equipment lifeEstablish and monitor key maintenance and facilities metrics, driving accountability for performance against targetsManage maintenance and facilities budgets, including oversight of capital projects, asset requests, and major expendituresPartner cross-functionally with Operations and Engineering to support production efficiency, on-time delivery, and scrap reduction initiativesOversee external contractors and service providers, ensuring quality, safety, and alignment with plant objectivesDrive standardization of maintenance practices, processes, and systems across the facilityRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field is preferred5+ years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment3+ years of leadership experience managing maintenance or facilities teamsStrong working knowledge of maintenance systems, reliability practices, and preventative maintenance programsU.S. person status required (citizen or permanent resident) due to regulatory requirements
