Elastic Engineer with Security Clearance

We are seeking an Elasticsearch Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain enterprise log analytics and monitoring solutions using the Elastic Stack. This role supports a critical Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) system and focuses on building scalable, high-performance data platforms in a secure environment. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Elasticsearch and related tools, along with the ability to manage complex cluster environments and support mission-critical systems. ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy log analytics and monitoring solutions using the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Beats, Kibana)Deploy, configure, test, and maintain Elasticsearch clusters across development and production environmentsMonitor and optimize cluster performance, ensuring high availability and efficient search capabilitiesConfigure Kibana dashboards and implement role-based access controls and multi-tenancy featuresIntegrate Elastic Stack solutions with existing ICAM systems and enterprise infrastructureTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to data ingestion, infrastructure, and system performancePerform daily administration tasks, including upgrades, maintenance, and system health monitoringGather and report system metrics on a monthly and quarterly basisCollaborate with developers and engineers to support system integration and feature developmentParticipate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, user story estimation, and backlog groomingWork within a DevSecOps environment utilizing CI/CD pipelinesConduct design reviews, peer reviews, and code reviewsDevelop technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides Required QualificationsMust posses an active Top Secret Security ClearanceMust be willing to obtain a polygraph upon hireBachelor's degree in a related field with 8-12 years of experience, or Master's degree with 6-10 years of experience5+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying solutions using the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats)Experience in software development, system integration, or platform administration rolesStrong knowledge of Elasticsearch cluster design, performance tuning, and troubleshootingExperience implementing Elastic security features, including SSL/TLS, authentication, and role-based access controlsExperience working in Agile environments using tools such as Jira and ConfluenceStrong documentation skills, including SOPs, architecture diagrams, and troubleshooting guidesAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, mission-critical environmentAbility to obtain and maintain a CI PolygraphDoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II compliance Desired QualificationsElastic Certified Engineer certificationExperience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and KubernetesExperience supporting high-availability production systems with strict uptime requirementsFamiliarity with ICAM technologies and identity management concepts * #CJ Fantom Corp is a Software Development, Agile Cloud, Software Development, Cyber Security (Risk Management, Assessments & Authorization (A&A)), Data, AI Platform (Computer Vision Models), Podcasting Media Services, and IT Services provider.
