This individual will partner closely with engineering, product marketing, leadership, customers, and external technology partners to guide product innovation, technical excellence, and organizational growth. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in spectroscopy with strong leadership, communication, and product development experience.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical leadership for Raman and OCT technologies across the organizationPartner with Product Marketing to ensure product specifications are achievable and validated through ISO 9001:2015 quality processesDefine and drive the company's technology roadmap and future innovation strategyPromote engineering best practices and technical excellence across teamsAnalyze analytical and technical data to support product and market requirementsDevelop technical reports, white papers, and customer-facing documentationIdentify and resolve technical and operational challenges related to product delivery and developmentContribute to broader company strategy, leadership initiatives, and organizational cultureLead, mentor, and expand the technology teamQualifications & ExperienceAdvanced degree preferred (MS or PhD) in Physics, Optics, Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, or related fieldEquivalent experience and education combinations will also be considered3-5+ years of experience in product development, product management, or related technical leadership rolesProven success bringing innovative products from concept through commercializationStrong expertise in Raman spectroscopy and related spectroscopic technologiesExperience with laboratory instrumentation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenanceExcellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skillsAbility to identify business and process improvement opportunities and implement effective solutionsHighly self-motivated with strong organizational and project coordination abilitiesDemonstrated ability to manage complex technical initiatives and deliver high-quality resultsPreferred BackgroundCandidates with experience in the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply:Raman spectroscopy systemsOptical Coherence Tomography (OCT)Photonics and optical instrumentationISO-regulated product development environmentsScientific instrumentation manufacturing
