Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant-Part Time

Description: The Arc Madison Cortland is looking for a motivated individual to join our team! This is a Part Time opportunity, maximum 29.5 hours per weekSUMMARY: Provide services under the direct supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Assist in providing occupational therapy for individuals evaluated by the occupational therapist and in conjunction with OT treatment planFollow the treatment plan established by the OT and approved by individual's physicianWork in conjunction with the individual's physician and therapist in course of treatment.Educate/train ancillary staff members on treatment planCompletes all necessary documentation and billing forms on a daily basis as required.Provides therapy in functional, prevocational, vocational, homemaking skills, and activities of daily living.RequirementsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Certified occupational therapy assistant with appropriate NYS license/eligibility.
