Our mission statement is to insure the world by bringing up a lean, scalable insurance platform.Key Responsibilities Work with data scientists and business analysts to frame problems within a business context to develop requirements and solutions from a Machine Learning Engineering (MLE) perspective. Develop and build data pipelines and develop machine learning solutions for large structured and unstructured data sets. Use object-oriented programming languages, including Python, to write custom code and to develop machine learning pipelines, frameworks, and models. Leverage machine learning libraries, including Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Caffe and Keras, and applying best practices for machine learning libraries. Develop software services that host trained models and build integrations to connect software services into business processes. Collaborate with data scientists to develop algorithms and tools for training and running simulations. Various worksites—position allows for remote work; position may involve travel/relocation to anticipated and unanticipated client worksites throughout the United States or company headquarters located in San Francisco, CA. Skills Knowledge And Expertise REQUIRED EDUCATION: Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Engineering, or closely related field. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: At least ONE (1) year of experience in the job offered, or at least ONE (1) year of experience with the following: Use object-oriented programming languages, including Java, Scala, C/C++, and Python, to write custom code and to develop machine learning pipelines, frameworks, and models. Preparing and processing large-scale real-world image datasets, including building and experimenting Computer Vision models on these data sets. Deploying deep learning models as a service and on device, using TorchServe via AWS Lambda, store inference images in AWS S3 for web services, and using NVIDIA Deepstream on Jetson AGX Xavier. Leveraging machine learning libraries, including Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Caffe and Keras.
