Job Description: Procurement Program ManagerOverview of the Position: ECOMPEX, Inc., a premiere Government Contract (Gov-Con) service provider is seeking a Procurement Program Manager to provide supportive services for Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in Ashburn, VA.The ECOMPEX Career Position Supports The FollowingProvide managerial support in coordinating, planning, leading, and supervising contractor staff.Support internal team Program Manager by providing strategic direction, and program oversight.Collaborate with senior leadership as necessary to ensure effective daily operations of program procurement.Aid in providing qualified personnel to support the team.Provide oversight of all assigned procurement personnel and ensure all tasks are completed accurately and before suspense dates.Effectively track all assigned personnel tasks and track progress.Provide detailed reports and briefings to internal program manager on tasks.Provide support and recommendations for contracting strategy and execution.Prepare high-level briefs, white papers, and memos used as the basis to support system recommendations. Develop and manage project plans, task trackers and schedules that comply with the program’s Statement of Work (SOW) and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS). Establish and monitor the program’s contract development and execution towards milestones, key events, and significant accomplishment criteria. Develop RFPs and assess associated proposals and provide technical input on contractual documentation. Establish project contract structure priorities and associated evaluation criteria. Serve as the technical advisor on the adequacy of the system developer’s execution of contractual requirements.Report information on the status of task order projects, along with any associated modifications.Track project cost, schedule and technical performance. Coordinate and establish the agenda and entrance/exit criteria for contract structure, source selection, and contract execution activities and project meetings.Minimum QualificationsMust be a US CitizenAble to pass a Tier (T1) clearance/background investigation.Must possess a bachelor's degree in a related field relevant to the position.Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience providing procurement program support.Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in government contracting.Must have extensive experience preparing detailed reports on program progress and briefing executives on status.Proficiency in planning and executing projects including managing timelines, tasks, and resources.Extensive experience leading large groups and resolving conflicts effectively.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Experience cultivating strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.Primary work location: Ashburn, VA.Travel Expectations: Travel is required for this position.Position Type: On-site or remote Work Schedule if approved, Salaried position.EEO Employer/Protected Veteran/Disabled.Ecompex is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other characteristic protected by law.
