Gravitas is mission-driven and committed to helping students grow in knowledge, skill, and character for lives of service and leadership.Role Summary The Gravitas part-time History faculty position is a teaching and mentoring role focused on the intellectual and spiritual formation of students in a live, relational online environment. Part-time faculty teach between one and four live courses with classes meeting twice per week for 80 minutes each.Beyond live instruction, faculty invest meaningfully in students through thoughtful preparation, timely and substantive feedback, and availability outside of class. Part-time History faculty also contribute to the life of the Gravitas community by collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development, professional growth, and shared projects, and by supporting student activities and clubs as needed.
