Job DescriptionCTR Group is seeking experienced Structural Welders for a Shipyard in the North-Eastern United States area for full-time positions. Travelers Welcome!Recently separated or retired Navy Hull Technicians encouraged to apply!2nd Shift Position: PAY RATE $29.12 per Hour Plus $150 Per DiemStructural Welder B:Experience:5+ years' work experience in welding.Must have current experience with flux core welding.Must have current experience with ceramic tape backing.Must successfully pass 1st class Skill Test.Essential Functions:Knowledge and proficiency of heavy shipyard construction welding in all positions.Welding process includes:o FCAW - Flux Core Arc WeldingKnowledge, understanding and demonstration of interpreting approved Welding Procedure Specifications.Knowledge and ability on how to use all tools related to welding, including basic trouble shooting and maintaining welding equipment to assure a safe and efficient operation.Welder must proficiently demonstrate welding ability through performance and testing as determined by project.Performs other related duties as required and assigned.CTR Group is a full-service staffing firm with over 35 years of experience in placing skilled trade's professionals.
