This role is responsible for managing field operations, developing and mentoring Superintendents and Foremen, and ensuring operational excellence across all assigned projects. The Senior Superintendent drives project performance through proactive planning, workforce optimization, risk mitigation, and implementation of best-in-class construction practices.Serving as the senior field authority, this role partners closely with Operations Managers, Project Managers, General Contractors, and executive leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within or below budget, and in alignment with company quality standards and client expectations. The Senior Superintendent establishes project strategy, ensures accountability across field leadership, and implements continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, safety, and workforce development.This position plays a critical role in scaling operations, managing complex project portfolios, and developing the next generation of field leaders.Key Responsibilities and across all field operationsEnsure project execution aligns with company standards, policies, and strategic objectivesPartner with executive leadership to scale field operations and support company growth initiativesWorkforce Planning, Labor Strategy, and Productivity ManagementDevelop and implement comprehensive manpower strategiesForecast labor requirements at a project level to ensure optimal staffing and workforce utilizationMonitor and analyze labor productivity, performance metrics, and cost efficiency across all assigned projectsEnsure projects meet or exceed labor productivity targets and financial performance goalsOptimize workforce deployment to maximize efficiency and minimize risk and cost overrunsLead manpower planning meetings and provide strategic workforce This position may be required to travel to various project sites.Reporting Structure:Reports to - (Director of Field Operations)Department - (Construction Services & National)Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (previously named Qualifications):Demonstrated executive-level field leadership experience, typically at Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, or equivalent leadership levelMinimum of 15-20 years of progressive electrical construction experience, including leadership of large-scale, mission-critical, or hyperscale projectsOSHA 30 Construction Certification and CPR/First Aid Certification (required or obtained within 6 months)Proven ability to lead multiple concurrent projects or large-scale programs exceeding standard project complexityStrong strategic planning, operational leadership, and workforce management capabilitiesAdvanced understanding of electrical systems, construction sequencing, installation methodologies, codes, and safety standardsExceptional leadership, mentoring, and talent development skills with a proven ability to build high-performing teamsStrong financial and business acumen, including labor forecasting, productivity analysis, and cost controlExcellent communication and executive presence with ability to interface with clients, executives, general contractors, and large teamsProven ability to drive operational improvements, efficiencies, and performance accountabilityStrong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skillsAbility to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
