Production Assistant 2nd ShiftPay: $19/hour + $1.00 shift differentialSchedule: MondayFriday, 3:00 PM 11:30 PMWe are seeking a motivated Production Assistant to support our plastic injection molding operations. This role is responsible for machine setup, process support, and maintaining efficient production across multiple molding machines. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience looking to grow in a hands-on production environment.What You'll Do:Set up and prepare injection molding machines for productionRun test shots for quality inspection and adjust machine parameters as neededInstall, remove, and clean molds, dies, and machine componentsEnsure proper materials and resin recipes are usedOperate manual machine controls and monitor performancePerform preventive maintenance and basic troubleshootingVerify machine safety controls are functioning properlyLoad materials into hoppers, manage grinders, and document usageComplete required production documentation and reportsSupport team operations to ensure efficient and continuous productionWhat We're Looking For:1+ year of manufacturing or related experienceBasic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand toolsAbility to follow instructions and stay detail-orientedGood math skills and ability to work with measurementsStrong attendance and reliabilityAbility to work both independently and in a team environmentPreferred Skills:Experience in plastic injection molding or similar processesAbility to read and interpret blueprintsBasic knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systemsFamiliarity with electrical circuits or PLCs (a plus)Work Environment & Physical Requirements:Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and materialsRequires standing, walking, and hands-on work throughout the shiftHandling of materials such as resins, oils, and tooling components
