Python Developer

Job Description: Role: Python Developer Location: Tampa, FL (3 days onsite in a week)Contract to hire Required Skills:5+ years of back-end development experience with Python.Strong hands-on experience with FastAPI, Microservices Architecture, and ASGI servers such as Uvicorn.Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker image creation, deployment pipelines, and troubleshooting build/release issues.Strong knowledge of Unit Testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD).Strong experience with AI/GenAI in software development.Hands-on use of GitHub Copilot and other AI coding tools (e.g., Codex, Antigravity, Devon, Claude Code).Ability to leverage, validate, and optimize AI-generated code.Ensure AI-generated code is clean, consistent, and free of unnecessary repetition.Familiarity with AI agent tools beyond Copilot is a plus.Experience using OpenTelemetry or similar monitoring tools for exception tracking and alerting.Experience interpreting Jira business requirements and writing test cases before development.Hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding tools (Codex, Devin, Claude Code, Cursor, etc.).Ability to validate, optimize, and maintain AI-generated code for consistency and quality.Experience with OpenTelemetry, Splunk, or similar monitoring and logging tools.Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
