Adecco is recruiting for Precision Assembly Technicians for a client in Auburn, NY. These positions are temp-to-hire, paying up to $20/hour depending on experience.This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing high-tech manufacturing company that produces fiber optic and medical device components used in diagnostic and life science equipment.Associates in these roles may work in either a general production environment or clean room setting performing detailed assembly work involving:Small parts and component assemblyFiber optic cable threading and routingEpoxying, crimping, polishing, and inspectionWorking from visual work instructions and assembly diagramsUse of small hand tools and digital measuring equipmentQuality inspection and documentationSome positions involve extremely detailed hand work with very small components, so strong hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and attention to detail are very important.Previous experience in assembly, electronics, medical device manufacturing, clean room environments, PCB work, microscope work, soldering, or other precision manufacturing environments is helpful, but training will be provided for the right candidates.Requirements:Strong attention to detailGood hand-eye coordination and manual dexterityAbility to follow detailed instructions and processesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPrior manufacturing or assembly experience preferredWhy this position?Temp-to-hire opportunityFull-time schedule on 1st shiftStable work environment with consistent hoursClean, bright, high-tech manufacturing environmentStrong long-term growth potential Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
