Project Manager Assistant

Position Overview: Meticulous individual with excellent interpersonal skills to manage multiple projects for a growing wholesale distributor. Assist growing organizational sales through relationship building, vendor negotiations, collaborations with the Account Manager, and managing projects from quote to invoice. Essential Job Functions: · Managing multiple projects at once. · Develop relationships with both customers and manufacturers. · Work to provide timely and competitive product quotes. · Works in cooperation with internal departments to manage any cost needs or requests in a timely manner. Tracks and report on the progress of any pricing needs or requests. Keep departments and employees informed of the progress of requests. · Develops and maintains constructive relationships with other business units and departments. · Demonstrates professionalism when representing the company in all communications with internal and external customers and manufacturers. · Sustains housekeeping standards in accordance with company appearance guidelines. · Maintains facility/job site to internal safety standards and OSHA compliance. · In addition to the essential functions and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for: · Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work-related tasks in a manner that follows all company policies and procedures. · Adhering to company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments while maintaining regular and timely attendance. Requirements/Skills/Abilities: · High School Diploma/GED or 2+ years relevant work experience. · Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple tasks/ priorities. · Excellent interpersonal and customer contact skills. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills & telephone etiquette. · Demonstrates computer skills and aptitude; Microsoft Office preferred with proficiency in Excel and Teams. · Credible, responsive team-player. · Collaborative, consultative, “team-oriented” style with self-directed, compassionate, and independent work ethic. · Goal-oriented and self-motivated. · Decision-making and problem resolution skills. · Listening effectively when others are speaking. · Effectively sets priorities, maintains organization, and meets deadlines · Ability to perform and retain various skill related tasks, training, and operations. · Computer/printer/copier/scanner. · Telephone/cell. · All equipment related to area for job requirements. Physical Requirements: · Push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs. · Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods. · Talk or hear, in person, through computer, and by telephone. · Use hands repetitively to operate standard office computer. · Visual ability includes close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
