Cnc Machinist

CNC Machinist Join our dynamic team as a CNC Mill Machinist in a job shop environment. You will be responsible for setting up and programming CNC milling machines to produce precision parts, performing setups, inspections, and adjustments to meet tolerances and varied customer requirements. Work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime available on Fridays.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC mills for short-run and custom machining jobs.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and machining instructions.Select tooling, set offsets, load programs, and verify first-piece accuracy.Inspect parts throughout production using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Adjust feeds, speeds, and tool paths to maintain quality and efficiency.Perform basic machine maintenance and keep work area clean and organized.Document production data and communicate issues to supervisors or programmers.Support overtime needs on Fridays based on workload.Essential SkillsExperience operating CNC milling machines in a job-shop or high-mix environment.Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other precision tools.Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials.Ability to hold tight tolerances and perform in-process inspections.Basic troubleshooting skills for tooling, offsets, and machine performance.Reliable attendance for a fixed weekly schedule with Friday overtime as needed.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Haas, Fanuc, and Mazak controls.Leadership skills.Why Work Here?Enjoy great benefits and 401K options in a family-like atmosphere that offers flexibility and support for working.
