Job Title : Network Engineer (Zero Trust)Location: Devens, MA 01434 (Onsite)Duration: 5-Month Contract (Possible Extension)Pay Rate: $50 - $55/hourSchedule: Monday–FridayAbout the RoleThe Zero Trust Network Operations Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, monitoring, support, and lifecycle management of enterprise network security infrastructure. This role focuses on maintaining availability, enforcing security policies, executing approved changes, and responding to incidents across a globally distributed environment supporting 1,000+ sites and over 100,000 users.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting enterprise network security operations, network access control environments, and Zero Trust technologies in large-scale infrastructures.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and support enterprise Zero Trust platforms, primarily Forescout NAC and Infoblox DDIPerform daily monitoring, health checks, and troubleshooting of network access control services, DNS, and DHCPManage network access exceptions, MAR whitelisting, and device compliance checks for corporate and guest/BYOD networksAnalyze and reconcile asset data across Forescout, Infoblox, Axonius, and ServiceNow CMDBSupport lifecycle management of unmanaged, IoT, and OT devices across the enterprise networkRespond to NAC incidents including 802.1X/RADIUS authentication failures and Guest Captive Portal issuesCollaborate with Network TOC, Service Desk, and field IT teams during outages or security incidentsImplement approved access control policies, VLAN assignments, ACLs, and segmentation changes\Execute DNS/DHCP configuration changes and IPAM updates following ITIL change management processesIdentify opportunities to automate operational tasks using tools such as PowerApps and Power Automate Maintain operational runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge documentation for support teamsRequired QualificationsHands-on experience supporting enterprise network security, NAC, or DDI environmentsWorking knowledge of 802.1X, RADIUS, MAB, TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and switchingExperience troubleshooting DNS, DHCP, and IPAM-related issuesExperience working within ITIL operational processes including incident, change, and problem managementStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills in enterprise network environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Forescout, Infoblox, or Axonius platformsExperience with ServiceNow CMDB and workflow automation tools such as PowerAppsExposure to Zero Trust Network Architecture and IoT/OT device classificationBasic scripting or automation experience using Python or similar technologiesSecurity or networking certifications such as CCNA, Security+, FSCA, or FSCP preferredEducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related discipline preferred
