Maintenance Technician IILocation: Selinon Park Apartments, Portage, MI (with regional rotation) Pay Range: $23.00 $25.00/hour; based on experience Schedule: Full-time | MondayFriday + on-call rotation (weekends/holidays as needed)Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, paid time off and parental leave, SIMPLE IRA with company match, short- and long-term disability, critical illness and accident coverage, and more.This role is part of a rotating "management team" schedule and will require rotation among other properties in the region.QualificationsMinimum 5 years of full-time experience in apartment or multi-family maintenanceHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredHVAC certification and/or experience preferredValid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance requiredStrong working knowledge of tools, mechanical systems, and emergency shutoffsAbility to lift/move up to 50 lbs. and work in physically demanding environments (bending, crawling, climbing, etc.)Strong communication and teamwork skillsFull Circle Communities, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team. You'll be a key player in maintaining the physical integrity, safety, and operations of our properties. This includes responding to service requests, completing unit turns, and ensuring our residents enjoy a safe, comfortable living environment. You'll report directly to the Community and/or General Manager and work within Full Circle's values and standards.Key ResponsibilitiesComplete routine and emergency maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and appliance repairParticipate in daily team huddles and communicate regularly with site staff and managementPerform unit inspections, make-ready services, and custodial dutiesHandle exterior maintenance such as grounds keeping and snow removalEnsure compliance with safety protocols and applicable laws and codesMaintain a professional, courteous demeanor when interacting with residents, staff, and vendorsFull Circle Communities is a mission-driven nonprofit working to expand access to quality affordable housing across the country.
