Duties Support the Executive Chef in managing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service. Lead and supervise kitchen staff during shifts, fostering a positive team environment focused on excellence and efficiency. Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations across all culinary activities. Assist with menu planning and development, incorporating diverse cuisines and dietary requirements to delight guests. Manage inventory control and food ordering processes to minimize waste while maintaining optimal stock levels. Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality dishes for large groups. Supervise food handling procedures, ensuring proper storage, sanitation, and adherence to safety standards. Support kitchen training initiatives to enhance team skills in cooking techniques, food presentation, and customer service. Requirements Proven experience in fine dining establishments or high-volume catering environments with a strong background in food production and kitchen management. Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership skills in a fast-paced culinary setting. Extensive knowledge of food safety standards and dietary department procedures. Skilled in menu planning, inventory management, and food handling practices. Strong cooking abilities complemented by expertise in food service management and catering operations. Experience with banquet service, shift management, and restaurant operations preferred. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster collaboration.
