Responsibilities
Assist experienced electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites and industrial facilities
Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform wiring, conduit installation, and equipment setup
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support project execution
Conduct basic troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters to identify electrical issues
Follow all safety procedures related to low voltage and high voltage electrical work in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
Support the setup of low voltage systems such as alarms or communication lines
Participate in construction activities including frame carpentry as needed for electrical installations
Skills
Prior experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is a plus
Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety practices
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
Basic understanding of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems
Experience with electrical testing devices like ohmmeters and multimeters
Good physical stamina for standing, walking, and working at heights or confined spaces
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors
