Closing Agent, Auto & Light TruckResponsible for preparing, reviewing and processing loan or lease documentation packages. Ensures bank policies, procedures, and regulations are adhered to for proper documentation for funding. Essential Requirements: Prepares timely and accurate loan or lease documentation in accordance with Credit approved terms and conditions. Reviews executed documentation upon receipt from Bank customers to ensure accuracy and that all requirements are received. Follows with customers and Sales Officers for receipt of pending items. Performs 2-day review of boarded loans and leases to ensure accuracy. Performs "after-funding" duties, including but not limited to customer file preparation, customer copies, filings, etc. Assists in the follow up for expiring insurance and maintenance of insurance report, ensuring that coverage is in accordance to policy and all certificates are current and in place. Reviews and posts follow-up items / comments with regard to funded deals and pending transactions to the departmental Pending Report. Updates reports (i.e., UCC/Lien Search report) with lien search and filing date information. Performs and assists with miscellaneous projects, including but not limited to drafting procedures, testing of application upgrades, insurance, UCC and title audits, etc. Performs backup for Auto Light Truck vehicle funding input. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement of the position. Responsible for the completion of all compliance training related to the position. Must understand all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and complies with the requirements. Non-Essential Functions: Performs all other duties as assigned. Experience/Skills: Three (3) years or more of loan and lease documents experience preferred. Experience of debt repayment calculation preferred. Experience in UCC/vehicle title security interests preferred. Good PC skills--proficiency in Word and Excel essential, understanding of database software. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Detail oriented. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Business preferred.
