Math Instructor

Math Instructors - Immediate Openings! Mathnasium of Chanhassen West and Minnetonka, your local math-only learning centers, have several openings for math instructors to work with students in grades 1 - 12. Curriculum and materials are pre-determined for each student and instructors apply the teaching methods presented during training. Required Qualifications: -Exceptional math skills through Algebra I & Geometry -Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills -Ability to professionally interact with students and parents -Energetic and confident personality -Available to work long term Preferred Qualifications: -Ability to teach students in upper-level high school math courses (Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, & Calculus) -Previous teaching/tutoring experience or other experience working with students Learning center environment is supportive and encouraging. Applicants should love teaching and be able to motivate students to succeed. Hours may vary; most instructors work approximately 8 - 16 hours per week (flexible).
