This is a tenure-track position reporting to the Department Chair andis slated to begin in fall 2026.Responsibilities Teaching Programming, Database, Networking or Cybersecurity courses as well as introductorycourses in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems and Cybersecurity curriculum. Teaching schedules may include in person, online, hybrid instruction and other instructionalmodalities that enhance student learning. Teaching responsibilities include innovative and engaging use of technology in the classroom. Additional activities include curriculum development, academic mentoring/advisement,participation in Departmental and Division activities, support of college activities, and professionaldevelopment. Active service on college committees. Other duties as assigned.QualificationsMS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a related field from an accreditedinstitution and a minimum of three years' experience in higher education. Applicants with aninterest in cybersecurity, database and programming languages are preferred. The ideal candidatewill also have excellent teaching skills; good interpersonal skills; effective written and oralcommunication skills and the ability to function collegially as a member of the faculty asdemonstrated by experience in higher education. The candidate will demonstrate experience orability to effectively work with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diversecollegiate community.
