This is a key operational role responsible for coordinating drivers, managing delivery schedules, and ensuring customers receive materials accurately and on time. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment, communicates clearly, and takes ownership of keeping operations running smoothly.Primary ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and supervise daily routes for approximately 48 driversSchedule and dispatch deliveries to maximize efficiency and on-time performanceCommunicate with drivers, yard personnel, and customers regarding delivery statusReview load assignments for accuracy and proper routingMonitor GPS systems and respond to route changes or delaysMaintain accurate dispatch records within company systemsSupport customer service by resolving delivery issues promptlyRequired QualificationsStrong ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environmentExcellent reliability and attendanceHigh attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently while supporting team operationsStrong multitasking and communication abilitiesCommitment to meeting delivery schedules and customer expectationsPreferred QualificationsPrevious dispatch, logistics, or transportation coordination experienceBasic knowledge of load building or construction material deliveriesTruck driving experience is a plusFamiliarity with dispatch software such as AccuTermExperience with GPS tracking systems (ex: Zonar)Ganahl Lumber has built its reputation on reliability, customer service, and the dedication of the Men and Women of Ganahl.
