Job DescriptionTitle : Shop FabricatorIronworking shop fabricator for miscellaneous metal subcontractor with room for future growth toAssistant Shop Foreman roleFull time ; 5 days a week (Monday – Friday, 7 AM – 3 PM)Pay : $32 / hour starting salaryDescriptionWork under Shop Foreman to learn layout (20%), fabrication (70%) and installation (10%)Daily tasks include :LayoutReading BlueprintsUsing equipment / hand tools to measure, cut, punch, and shape steel, stainless steel and aluminumGrinding / PolishingWeldingMaintaining safe and clean work area, tools, equipment, and machineryPaintingDeliveriesPreference given applicants interested in long-term employment and/or to local applicantsStrong attention to detail and willingness to learn essential Ability to receive instruction and direction from Shop ForemanWelding / prior construction experience preferred Additional experience may alter position or offer above (case specific)6-month probationary periodProfit Sharing Plan Eligible after 1st full annual year of employment (Annual Contributions over 10%)Valid Driver’s LicensePTO First year : 10 Days / Sick/Personal : 5 daysHealth CareCompany DescriptionW.H.
