Batch Operator

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND INFLUENCE Prepare a food grade wash on each tanker according to what was in the tanker prior to washing.* Operate yard dog to move tankers to and from loading area.* Perform a final inspection to ensure seals are properly placed and paperwork is in order.* Weigh tanker before and after loading.* Prepare samples and test samples for quality testing and product meeting spec.* Oversee liquid sucrose mixing process.* Prepare sanitation solution tub and changes out every shift.* Prepare storage loads when time allows.* Follow proper sanitation procedures keeping the liquid area clean and ensuring it meets food grade standards.* Perform preventative maintenance according to schedule. Maintain open communication with drivers. Perform CIP on batch and storage tanks as needed.* Assist with food safety audits.* Dump totes for liquid production.* Transfer to bulk silos and to bulk trucks.* Perform other duties as assigned.
