Process Engineering Supervisor

We're supporting an automotive T-1/T-2 supplier of injection molded parts. They're searching for an experienced Process Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of 10 process/manufacturing engineers and technicians. You'll have the opportunity to support some of America's largest OEMs while working with experts in the injection molding industry.Responsibilities:Work closely with the applications engineers to specify equipment based on customer requirementsDesign, develop and lead the teams manufacturing processesDesigning and developing machinery, tools and equipment, with cost justification to improve on manufacturing methodsWrite, develop and evaluate machine statement of requirements for new product launches, to enable suppliers to select equipment to meet all company requirementsImprove manufacturing efficiency through product/process analysis for cost reductions, quality improvement, sorting costs and overtimeRequirements:A minimum of 3 years experience leading automotive manufacturing teams, or 3 years leading teams within plastics manufacturing and injection molding5+ years of experience in automotive/plastics manufacturing environments as a process/manufacturing engineerA goal-oriented, solution driven mindset with the ability to think and plan aheadTechnical skills in manufacturing processes and methods including Single Piece Flow, Cellular “U”- Shape Layouts, Assembly, and Production Equipment.Bonus Points: Technical understanding of injection molding equipment and processesBachelors degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
