American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg and Skilled Nursing night shift position requiring an active CA RN license and Cerner EMR proficiency.Job Details• Hospital-based Med/Surg unit with rotation to the Skilled Nursing department,• Patient population includes adult and pediatric (non-critical) Med/Surg cases,• Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM,• 13-week contract,Job Requirements• Active CA RN license required,• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,• Current certifications required: ACLS and PALS,• Cerner EMR experience required,• Ability to care for non-critical pediatric patients required,• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration,Additional Information• Responsibilities include Med/Surg nursing care for adult and non-critical pediatric patients, with floating to the Skilled Nursing department as needed,• Clinicians must be familiar with Joint Commission National Patient Safety Goals (NPSGs), including alarm management, patient restraint use, infection prevention, two-step patient identification, medication labeling and calculation safety, and identifying safety and suicide risks,• Orientation is paid in full,• Local candidates are accepted
