Position DescriptionThe Senior System Administrator is responsible for administering, maintaining, and securing enterprise systems to ensure stable, reliable, and high-performing IT operations. This role requires a seasoned technical professional with expertise in system configuration, access controls, patch management, and issue resolution across complex environments.Your future duties and responsibilitiesKey Responsibilities Manage system configurations, access controls, and security settings to maintain compliance, operational integrity, and system reliability. Oversee patching, updates, and system maintenance activities to ensure all systems remain secure, current, and fully functional. Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, performing root‑cause analysis and implementing durable corrective actions. Monitor enterprise systems for performance, availability, and capacity concerns, ensuring proactive system health and stability. Support operational processes, maintenance schedules, and system lifecycle management across production and non‑production environments. Maintain enterprise application environments and system infrastructure, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and security requirements. Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams to support system upgrades, integration efforts, and modernization initiatives. Document system configurations, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps to support operational continuity and repeatability. Assist in the development and implementation of system hardening, access management, and security best practices.Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role Minimum of 7 years of experience administering enterprise applications and systems in complex IT environments. Minimum of 3 years of experience troubleshooting and resolving system issues. Experience managing system configurations, access controls, and patch management activities. Strong understanding of system monitoring, performance tuning, and operational best practices. Demonstrated experience maintaining secure, stable, and compliant enterprise systems.
