Pipe Fitter

GENERAL DESCRIPTION – PURPOSE OF ROLE: The Pipe Fitter will be responsible for installing, assembling, fabricating, and welding piping systems used in hydraulic applications. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Essential Functions: · Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine piping layouts. · Fabricate piping from blueprints and coordinate tig welding operations. · Install piping for hydraulic machines. · Ensures quality procedures are met per engineering specifications. · Has experience in MTE tig welding. · Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively. · Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times. · Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to complete projects efficiently. · Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications and Experience: · Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience is preferred. · Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter in an industrial or commercial setting. · Ability to read blueprints and technical documents. · Knowledge of piping systems, materials, and installation methods. · Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: · Welding certification · Experience with high-pressure or specialty piping systems. · Familiarity with industrial safety standards and procedures. Education Requirements: · High school diploma or equivalent or GED required · Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience is preferred.
