POSITION: Substance Abuse Therapist LOCATION: Nicholasville, Kentucky QUALIFICATIONS: TCADC, CADC LCADCA, LCADC, LPCC, LPCA, LCSW, CSW, or LPA licensure (required) experience in substance abuse counseling and residential treatment (preferred) While we welcome applicants who are in recovery, Kentucky regulations require that our team members have two years of sobriety. RESPONSIBILITIES AND TRAINING: provide group, individual, and family therapy sessions determine appropriate treatment interventions for each patient collaborate with each patient on a treatment plan help patients set and achieve their personal goals maintain records and provide documentation according to Stepworks policies develop continuing care plans serve as the first point of contact for patients’ behavioral issues participate in four hours of supervision monthly be prepared for crisis intervention, first aid, CPR (training provided) SHIFT: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. BENEFITS: health, dental, and vision insurance cancer, shortterm disability, accident, hospitalization, and critical illness policies 401K with employer matching after one year of employment paid time off opportunities for promotion/advancement within the Stepworks organization membership in a passionate and highlydriven team We are a NHSCapproved site.
