Join us!POSITION SUMMARYThe House Manager is responsible for leading smooth Front of House operation during events at the Pensacola Bay Center by performing the duties listed below.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESOversees front-of-house operations including ingress and egress, lobby flow, crowd management, and guest experience throughout eventsSupervise ticketing operations, resolve entry discrepancies, handle scanning issues, and coordinate with box office staff to ensure smooth admission processesRespond to guest concerns, ADA accommodations, and escalated service issues in real time to maintain a safe and positive event environmentCollaborate with Event Operations, Security, and Production teams to execute event plans, enforce venue policies, and ensure compliance with safety regulationsCompletes various records and reportsPerforms other related duties as assigned by venue managementSUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIESCarries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends Global policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include supervision of front of house staff; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Excellent organizational skills requiredGood written, verbal, and interpersonal skills requiredAbility to interact with all levels of staff including managementProfessional presentation, appearance, and work ethicAbility to operate a computer terminal and printerDependable team playerEnthusiastic self-starterAbility to learn new skillsSubject to credit and background screeningEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or GED required.Associate's degree preferred1 to 2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.Previous management experience in a similar venue.SKILLS AND ABILITIESExperience and understanding of the principles, and procedures related to the coordination of front of house staff and services in a public assembly environmentWork independently and able to exercise judgment and initiativeHave excellent communication, listening, problem solving, and organizational skillsAble to understand, speak, read, and write EnglishAble to interact with guests, vendors, and staff in a friendly, courteous, and polite mannerAble to operate two-way radio equipmentPerforms all necessary supervisory functions to effectively and efficiently manage the personnel assigned.WORKING CONDITIONSLocation: Onsite at Pensacola Bay Center in Pensacola, FLPHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
