The specialist will prepare products for shipment and ship all outbound shipments including regular parcel, freight and international. This position works 7:00am-3:00pm.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Prepare and ship all outbound shipments including parcel, freight, and internationalAccurately complete all necessary paperwork for all outbound shipmentsTake calls and setup delivery appointments for all outbound shipmentsFollow and adhere to all company and customer shipping instructions, policies, and proceduresLoad and unload delivery trucksMaintain accurate data entry and records in the system per company policiesMaintain and file documents and paperwork per company policiesProcess outgoing shipments using UPS, FedEx and other various shipping software and/or customer portalsPrepare all outbound pallets for shipment including finishing, wrapping, and palletizing of productWork internally with other departments to ensure shipping deadlines are metOperate powered industrial trucks including forklifts, powered jacks, etc.Utilize computer systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Office software including email, word, excel.Assist Receiving as neededMaintain a clean and safe environmentOther duties as assigned Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalentA minimum of one (1) year experience working in shipping/receivingKnowledge of PC and database programs; experience working with an internal ERP system, printing labels, word processing, and spreadsheetsAbility to effectively communicate verbally and via emailBasic measuring skills and visual quality inspection of incoming materialKnowledge of domestic and international shippingExperienced in operating a Forklift and electric pallet jacksExperience working with FedEx Ship Manger and UPS WorldShipCompensation details: 18-23 Hourly WagePI093d40724cc3-26289-40523469
