Every day, our team helps strengthen the communities we serve across Audrain, Callaway, Montgomery, Pike, Ralls, and Monroe Counties by providing and improving access to medical, dental, and behavioral health care, fostering resilience, and promoting long-term wellness.Position Summary:Arthur Center is looking for a Crisis Care Manager who is a seasoned clinician and a confident leader. Someone who can manage complex systems, develop strong community partnerships, and bring out the best in a team doing some of the most demanding and important work in behavioral health. In this role, you will provide oversight and leadership to our Emergency Room Enhancement and Crisis Care teams across a six-county service area, managing referrals, supervising staff, and ensuring that every person who interacts with crisis services receives timely, trauma-informed, and effective support. If you have crisis intervention experience, a track record of building collaborative relationships across systems, and the leadership instincts to guide a multidisciplinary team through rapidly changing situations, we want to hear from you.Key Tasks And ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership and SupervisionLead a multidisciplinary team in engaging and supporting clients who frequently interact with law enforcement, crisis services, urgent care, hospitals, and ambulance districts across the service area.Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate the performance of ERE Care Coordinators and Crisis Care Coordinators.Provide ongoing supervision, training, support, and resources to ERE and Crisis staff members.Lead monthly crisis meetings and train all crisis on-call staff.Provide back-up on-call services, rotating with other licensed staff as needed.Ensure all team members engage with clients in a trauma-informed and collaborative manner that supports safety, empowerment, voice, and choice.Referral Management and Crisis CoordinationReceive ERE, crisis, and hospital discharge referrals; triage and delegate to appropriate Arthur Center program staff and services.Attend CIT (Crisis Intervention Team) meetings as available across the service area.Attend DMH monthly Crisis Services Meetings.Provide community education on 988 and available crisis services as needed.Community Partnerships and Systems CollaborationEstablish and maintain strong working relationships with referral sources including law enforcement, ambulance personnel, hospitals, and crisis call centers.Provide training and education to referral partners on relevant referral processes and behavioral health resources.Attend agency supervisors meetings and other assigned agency meetings.Policy, Compliance and Quality ImprovementDevelop and review relevant program and agency policies to support clinically sound, ethical, and safe program implementation.Maintain and assist in editing crisis forms to reflect current Arthur Center, CARF, and DMH requirements.Maintain documentation of crisis response training and core competency records from staff meetings.Meet all internal and external reporting requirements including data collection for Quality Assurance evaluation and DMH reporting.Attend educational seminars and professional development meetings related to licensure maintenance as applicable.Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor or department director.Skills and Attributes:Strong interpersonal engagement skills across all age groups including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors.Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong partnerships with law enforcement, ambulance personnel, crisis call centers, and hospitals.Highly flexible and creative.
