Monitors patient behavior during transport to ensure they are calm and secure. Collaborate with social work staff to coordinate transportation schedules. Provide feedback to appropriate staff member (medical, nursing, social work) regarding patient transport needs and concerns. Maintain the assigned vehicle to ensure it is kept clean, operational, and safe for patient transportation while using the vehicle. During times when not actively transporting a patient or coordinating a transportation, will perform discharge related tasks and other duties as assigned by the Social Work Director.Minimum QualificationsAbility to handle sensitive and emotionally charged situations with professionalism and empathy. Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients and staff. Knowledge of safety protocols including emergency situations and CPR.
