SURGERY COMPLEX GENERAL SURGICAL ONCOLOGYEmployment Type: Full-TimeLocation: USA, OklahomaPOSITION SUMMARYThis role supports The Department in providing hepatopancreatobiliary and surgical oncology care across inpatient, outpatient, and operative settings. Responsibilities include managing complex abdominal oncology cases, participating in multidisciplinary care pathways, and contributing to a collaborative subspecialty surgical team. The position offers involvement in open and minimally invasive procedures, coordinated care with related specialties, and participation in shared call.QUALIFICATIONS• Board eligible or board certified in Surgery and/or Complex General Surgical Oncology• Residency training in surgery• Fellowship training in hepatopancreatobiliary surgery or related surgical oncology fields• Eligibility for medical licensure in Oklahoma• Clinical background in Complex General Surgical OncologyCOMPETENCIES• Management of hepatopancreatobiliary and surgical oncology cases across care settings• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including gastroenterology, oncology, and interventional radiology• Participation in operative workflows including open, minimally invasive, and robotic procedures• Use of industry standard EMR and diagnostic tools• Delivery of patient centered oncologic surgical careWORK SETTING & ENVIRONMENTWork Environment: Hospital; Inpatient; Outpatient; Clinic/Private Practice; Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)• Subspecialty surgical team including surgeons, advanced practice providers, and clinical support staff• Inpatient, outpatient, and operative responsibilities integrated across surgical oncology services• Access to modern operative suites and minimally invasive technology• Multidisciplinary coordination including tumor board participation• Clinical support resources for perioperative and longitudinal oncology care
