Preventative Maintenance Technician (PM Tech)

SUMMARY: The Preventative Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing required preventative maintenance (PM) on all production and support equipment across all departments, as well as maintaining the overall upkeep of the facility. This role focuses on ensuring equipment reliability, cleanliness, and proper operating condition through scheduled PMs and routine inspections. When not actively performing PMs, the technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and well-maintained facility and equipment environment. Hours 5:00am-1:30pm Monday-Friday DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform required preventative maintenance on all production and support equipment in accordance with established schedules and procedures. Inspect equipment and facility systems to identify potential issues and address minor repairs before they impact operations. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall condition of equipment, maintenance work areas, and facility spaces. Ensure equipment, machinery, and facility areas remain in top operating and visual condition at all times. Perform the cleaning process for production molds and other tooling as needed. Work directly with the Maintenance Lead and Plant Manager to prioritize PM activities and maintenance tasks. Accurately document completed PMs, inspections, and maintenance activities according to established procedures. Assist in identifying, sourcing, and restocking basic spare parts required for routine maintenance. Follow detailed instructions, procedures, and safety protocols. Observe all OSHA regulations and use proper PPE when working. Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance tools, storage areas, and workspaces. Support continuous improvement efforts related to equipment reliability, cleanliness, and facility upkeep. Other duties as assigned. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: · Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office. · Experience with Preventative Maintenance Software desired. · Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude. Prior experience in an equipment maintenance or facilities maintenance environment preferred. · High School diploma minimum. Associate degree in math or science desired · Experience managing projects of varying complexity and scope. · Strong verbal and written communication skills. · Ability to interpret basic blueprints, manuals, and technical documentation. · Able to work overtime as needed. · Able to perform all duties and responsibilities listed safely and wear required PPE. · Able to report to work on time each work day. · Must have positive attitude and strong work ethics WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. The warehouse area is not climate controlled and can get hot during summer and cold during winter months. Work involves lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, hearing protection, safety harness and gloves. Must be able to hear, speak, reach, bend, twist, squat, push and pull. Must be able to perform tasks in a standing or sitting position for extended periods of time.
