The focus of ground truth data collection is to capture various types of data relating to humans, speech, and environments to enable quality Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning algorithms.The candidate will be responsible for performing data collection directly at participant homes and offices in the Burlingame Area while utilizing sophisticated highly confidential prototype equipment and ensuring quality control protocols are strictly adhered to. The ideal candidate has the perfect blend of customer service skills, technology skills and keen attention to detail, and should be comfortable using MacBook and iPhone OS.Main Responsibilities:Use client provided proprietary equipment in real participant home environments and commercial office spaces to perform data collection protocols as trainedPrep and maintain assigned equipment and ensure security of proprietary devicesPrep participants for capture including intake, NDAs, scripting and answering questionsMaintain capture environment and implement lighting and staging changesRespond swiftly to project updates and changesProvide feedback to operations lead on project improvementsPerform data uploads and quality control checksHelp with participant outreach and schedulingOther duties as assignedTroubleshooting: Ability to mitigate issues, customer-facing or technology relatedQualificationsExperience in a related role such as customer service or data collectionMust be comfortable using MacBook Pro and iPhoneExperience with Microsoft Office 365 and its components (SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, Google Sheets)College degree preferred and 2+ years working in a team environmentAdditional InformationMust Have:This role requires reliable personal transportation. Mileage will be reimbursedThis role requires flexibility in terms of shift timings.
