SD25-00006 - Senior Software Engineer

Under the direction of the AIS Application Services (AS) manager or delegate, the contractor shall provide one(1) Senior Software Engineer consultant for developing, maintaining, migrating and tuning SQL Serverdatabase environments.The contractor will be involved in reviewing and documenting existing SQL database designs and identify areasfor improvement. Based on the suggested design and action plan, the Contractor shall perform the followingtasks and provide documentation:A. Document the baseline of the existing databases and data mapping.B. Optimize the query functionality and performance tuning of the database.C. Work with business users to document business requirements related to reports and ETL (Extract TransferLoad) process.D. Install and administer SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Server (SSRS) and SQL Server IntegrationServices (SSIS) packages, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL.E. Develop and implement data pipelines, data warehouses and ETL processes to integrate data from varioussources into Azure Synapse Analytics.F. Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to SQL Server.G. Provide knowledge transfer as defined in Knowledge Transfer section below.
